The factory produces various kinds of cardboard, and most of our customers are Danish industrial companies who use the cardboard for packaging, templates, gaskets, ring binders, boxes as well as inlay for brushes, various leather products, upholstered furniture, etc.

Demand is usually greatest for grey cardboard, since the factory’s biggest customer uses grey cardboard for its pallets.

The factory is also able to produce coloured and varnished pieces of cardboard, which may resemble leather if they are embossed.

Today, the coloured cardboard is dyed by use of natural colour which is neither environmentally damaging nor injurious to health. Before, solvents were used in the colour to an extent that it became dangerous when working with it over a longer period of time.
It was in particular for the varnishing process that the damaging and somewhat dangerous solvents were used.
